Opening Studio Instructions

1. Retrieve key 🔑 from *Safe box (See Image 1) located outside gate on right side. Temporary Code For Safe Box: you usually receive it 15 minutes before your rental time if you're opening via text. You cannot arrive more than 15 min. if you're opening. You are usually notified prior whether you have to open, but if studio is already open, for COVID precautions you cannot enter more than 5 minutes before your booking start time. ***PLEASE NOTE***We are waiting for arrival of new lock that will no longer require a key and will be accessed via fingerprint and/or Bluetooth. You will be notified when this change happens.

2. Open lock on left side of gate 🔓 with key. Leave LOCK UNLOCKED FOR YOURSELF/OTHERS TO CLOSE (2 pieces/see image 2) you will take it upstairs with you (BUT NOT THE KEY, THE KEY GOES BACK IN THE SAFE BOX IMMEDIATELY!!! DO NOT TAKE KEY UPSTAIRS). THE LOCK must be placed in designated area (See Image 4) immediately when you get upstairs by the house light switches.

3. ⚠️🚨BEFORE GOING UPSTAIRS with lock, MAKE SURE TO LEAVE KEY BACK IN SAFE BOX (making sure to change the combination before closing the safe box flap so no one can know or see the combination numbers). YOU CANNOT GO UPSTAIRS WITH THE KEY!!!

4.⚠️ OPEN GATE FROM MIDDLE, NOT FROM BOTTOM HANDLE BY PUSHING UP (SEE IMAGE GREEN CIRCLED AREA)

5. As soon as you walk in the door, on your right, the side wall above you, you can turn on stairwell light on, IT'S THE LEFT SWITCH FOR STAIRWELL LIGHTS (see image) *Don't touch right switch or any other switches in building.

6. When you go upstairs, and walk towards the lobby area (across from the bathroom) house lights are on the wall to your left when you walk in. See image. THESE HOUSE LIGHTS CONTROL THE STUDIO LIGHTS AND NEXT TO IT IS THE DESIGNATED AREA FOR LOCK. PLACE LOCK HERE IMMEDIATELY.

7. FOR HEAT/AIR CONDITIONING you must contact Jessica.

Locking Up INSTRUCTIONS

1. Make sure all furniture/equipment is put back in place.

2. Shut off speaker (switch is on the back, at the bottom right). Makes sure to put back any Bluetooth device used back in its place.

3. Shut off fan and any extra lighting if turned on.

4. Shut off all studio house lights

5. Grab lock and take with you from designated Lock Holder to close up gate (you do not need the key if it’s unlocked as shown in picture, as you will only have to lock it)

Lock should be “unlocked” as shown in picture.

6. Make sure bathroom light is shut off as well.

7. Once you make it downstairs, shut off stairwell light LEFT SWITCH ONLY! (See Image 1).

Once you're outside...

8. You just bring down the gate all the way and lock it on the left side. Put metal piece ----○ through gate, then the pad lock and lock it. Make sure it is fully locked by pulling on it. If for any reason, it does not lock, please contact Jessica immediately.
